Important news about our ministry!

Dear siblings in the Lord,

when we were writing our previous prayer letter in August 2011, we supposed that Bethel would continue now in the year 2012. However we gradually started to find out that due to insufficient donations for our social-work projects we would not be able to continue as a whole. Therefore we had to close Bethel as the non-profit organization right at the beginning of this year.

Nevertheless we are very glad to inform you that the majority of our activities does continue in a certain way:

First Baptist Church in Litomerice as the main partner of Bethel decided to take over all the ESL classes and camps and various free-time activities. For this purpose the church established a new free-time club called ANCHOR as a tool to reach people for the mention activities.

Lectures at schools were taken over by our church’s Mission Pastor Martin Ruzicka. Thanks to the church‘s and I.N. Network’s support, we can keep doing this important work in local schools and influnce young people’s lives.

Non-profit organization named Hope was able to take over the Oasis club and continue its operation. The local branch of this Christian organization is led by a member of our church and many employees are from the our church as well. Brother Robert stays in charge of this club.

Computer classes for seniors were taken over by another local non-profit organization and their operation will therefore continue.

We are very thankful for your prayers and financial support that you have provided during more than ten years of Bethel’s existence. Special thanks belong also to those who provided support in the months of our uncertain future because these funds played its important role as to whether the activities mentioned above would continue.

Let us thank God for His amazing provision that enabled many activities to continue and let us pray for God’s blessings, wisdom and guidance in doing the continuing activities. Our common desire is to glorify Christ in everything we do.

The future prayer letters will be sent directly from First Baptist Church in Litomerice through a new email address.
